High Wind Warning in effect
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SACRAMENTO HAS ISSUED A HIGH WIND
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON. THIS
REPLACES THE WIND ADVISORY THROUGH 2 PM. THE WIND ADVISORY
WILL CONTINUE FROM 2 PM TO 4 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON.
* WINDS: SOUTHEAST 20 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS 35 TO 50 MPH...EXCEPT
OVER THE EAST SIDE OF THE VALLEY THROUGH 2 PM WINDS AT TIMES ARE
EXPECTED TO SURFACE THAT WILL RANGE BETWEEN 35 AND 45 MPH WITH
GUSTS BETWEEN 50 AND 60 MPH.
* TIMING: THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON.
* LOCATIONS INCLUDE: STOCKTON...MODESTO...SACRAMENTO...CHICO
...REDDING...LAKEPORT.
* IMPACTS: BROKEN TREE BRANCHES AND DOWNED TREES AND FENCES. POWER
OUTAGES LIKELY...VERY DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY
FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES AND BLOWING DEBRIS.
