not so cool forecast
It appears the forecast high temperatures have been increased a bit over yesterday's forecast for the next seven days. High temps are now predicted to be in the mid 80s for early next week, rather than around 80. Highs the rest of this week will remain right around 90 degrees. The average high for mid- September is 89 degrees, so we're not too far off of that. Yesterday's high temperature in Chico was 90 degrees. Sunshine, as ususual, will abound. Here is the latest seven day forecast for Chico from the National Weather Service:
Today:Sunny, with a high near 89. South wind 3 to 6 mph.
Tonight Mostly clear, with a low around 53. Southeast wind 6 to 8 mph.
Thursday Sunny, with a high near 89. Calm wind becoming south southwest around 6 mph in the morning.
Thursday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 54. South wind around 6 mph becoming east in the evening.
Friday Sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Friday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 58.
Saturday Sunny, with a high near 89.
Saturday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 58.
Sunday Mostly sunny, with a high near 85.
Sunday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 55.
Monday Mostly sunny, with a high near 86.
Monday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 57.
Tuesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
