We are being affected by the current storm to roll in off the Pacific. The brunt of the storm will occur later tonight into early tomorrow (Monday). The valley could see anywhere from a half inch to an inch of rain. The foothills east of Chico (including Paradise) may receive two inches of rain from this storm. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for elevations above 4500 feet from now until Monday afternoon. Six to twelve inches are expected to fall above 4500 feet, while 2+ feet of snow is forecast above 6000 feet in the Sierra Nevada. If traveling to the mountains, be prepared for gusty winds of up to 50 mph and dangerous driving conditions. By Tuesday, expect drier and warmer weather, and that will last through next weekend. For now, it's definitely indoors weather. Here's Chico's seven day forecast from the National Weather Service:
