It has been an absolutely beautiful weekend here in Chico, with a high of 76 on Saturday, and a high of 74 today. Sunny skies dominated, albeit with some slightly stagnant air hanging over Chico due to light winds and a lack of rain. We need rain desperately, but it's not going to happen. There is a slight chance of showers (20%) tomorrow night into Tuesday morning; otherwise, forget about any decent rain for awhile. This could be one of the driest Novembers in Chico weather history, as we have had no measurable rain so far this month. The rainy season of 2005-2006 was similar to this, in which it began with almost no rain during November and much of December, and then one big storm after another pummeled Northern California right before and after Christmas. Perhaps that will happen this rainy season? Only time will tell. Until then, enjoy the sunny and dry autumn weather.
