*IMPACTS: POSSIBLE FIRE STARTS FOOTHILLS AND MOUNTAINS. LOCAL
DOWNPOURS AND POSSIBLE MINOR FLOODING...MAINLY HIGHER ELEVATIONS.
*TIMING: ISOLATED STORMS OVER THE MOUNTAINS BEGINNING SUNDAY
AFTERNOON. AREAL COVERAGE OF STORMS INCREASING THROUGH MIDWEEK.
ISOLATED STORMS ALSO POSSIBLE IN THE VALLEY.
*TEMPERATURES: TRIPLE DIGITS IN THE VALLEY SUNDAY AND MONDAY...
COOLING BY MID WEEK.
*LOW PRESSURE OFF THE COAST IS FORECAST TO BRING A THREAT OF
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS INTERIOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AS EARLY AS
SUNDAY AND THROUGH THE WEEK. CONFIDENCE IS NOT HIGH IN THE TIMING
AND MOVEMENT OF THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM AFFECTING THE AREA.
