warm throughout this week

I hope everyone enjoyed their Mother's Day! It was a warm one in Chico, with a high temperature at the Chico Airport of 93 degrees. A southerly breeze kicked up this afternoon, clearing out some of the smoke and haze from nearby fires. It shouldn't be as warm the rest of the week as it was today, with mid to upper 80s Monday through Wednesday. By Thursday, a brief cool down will allow temps to lower into the lower 80s through Friday. By next weekend, expect temps to creep back into the mid 80s. However, we will not see highs above 90 degrees for the foreseeable future. No rain is in the forecast through next weekend.
