This weekend has been cold and unsettled as a low pressure system originating in the Gulf of Alaska has influenced our weather here in Northern California. This storm brought us .41 of an inch of rain to Chico, along with cold high temps only in the lower 50s both yesterday and today. Up to six inches of snow have fallen in the Sierra Nevada above 4000 feet over the past 24 hours.
