layer weather

It reached 81 degrees in Chico yesterday afternoon, after a chilly morning low of 45 degrees. I call this "layer weather," as in you have to wear layers during the day- coat or jacket in the morning as you head off to work, and ending up with short sleeves by the time you leave work to return home. This "layer weather" will continue for the next several days, with highs near 80 and lows in the 40s. High pressure is large and in charge, so don't expect any rain for awhile.
