first day of spring is a wet one

Happy first day of spring! Did you know the first day of spring is a national holiday in Japan? I think the Japanese are much more in tune with nature than we are here in the West. Anyway, the spring equinox is continuing to be a wet one here in California. Chico has received .33" as of 6 am this morning. Chico could see another quarter inch of rain, while the highest elevations of the Sierra Nevada could get another 3-6 inches of snow.
