Delta Breeze influence

Yesterday was nice in Chico as far as the weather is concerned, with breezy southerly winds and highs in the upper 80s. That's right where we should be for mid-June. It is expected to be even cooler today, with increasing southerly (Delta) breezes, which will allow temps to only reach around 80 degrees. Those breezes could be locally gusty, perhaps up to 20 mph. That will be the same forecast for tomorrow before temps warm back up Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Saturday will be the peak temperature day, with highs in the mid 90s. Again, nothing we Chicoans can't handle. As per usual this time of year, no rain is in the forecast, just bright sunshine and clear, blue skies.
