staying mild... chance of rain next week?

Wow! The Chico State University Farm on the south side of Chico recorded a high temperature of 65 degrees today. It was a beautiful day today, with spring-like temperatures and sunny skies. Expect the weather to remain mild for the next several days, with dry conditions and daytime highs ranging from the upper 50s to lower 60s. There may be some patchy morning fog in some valley locations; otherwise, expect mostly sunny skies through early next week. It'll be perfect weather to honor Martin Luther King, Jr by volunteering for the Day of Service this weekend. By the middle of next week, a quick-moving cold front may skirt by our area, which may bring us a slight chance of a shower. Another slight chance for showers may occur next Friday. Overnight lows will still be cold the next several nights- mainly upper 20s to lower 30s. It is still winter, after all.
