Overall, nice weather for this week

This past weekend was hot, but yesterday was not quite as hot as Saturday. At the Chico Airport, Saturday's high temperature was 94 degrees, while yesterday's high was 90. Today we have the Delta breeze in place, bringing cooler temperatures to the Sacramento River valley. Expect highs today only in the upper 70s. Tuesday and Wednesday will see highs in the upper 80s, then Thursday and Friday will cool down into the lower 80s- about where we should be for mid-May. Next weekend looks warm, but not hot, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. All seven days will see sunshine.
