It was downright gloomy in Chico today, with rain showers throughout the morning and early afternoon and temperatures stuck in the low 50s for highs. There will be just a few scattered showers tonight before the sun (mercifully) returns tomorrow. It looks like sunny, dry weather will hang out for the next week, with just a slight chance of a shower Wednesday night. High temperatures will warm up, with 60s tomorrow and 70s pretty much the rest of the week. Chico State University celebrates 125 years this year, and there will be a community open house tomorrow from 1-5 pm. The entire community is welcome to tour the campus, with student-led tours, lectures by favorite Chico State professors, museum tours, games for the kids, and of course, food. Come on out to the campus tomorrow and see things you thought never existed. The weather should totally cooperate, so walk around the campus, enjoy the azaleas in bloom, and soak up some sunshine!
